Moon Buggy
unofficial build from the world of James Bond (Diamonds are Forever)This one I wanted to do for quite some time. Because while we see the Lotus Esprit and Aston Martin DB10 a lot, Bond has brought us many iconic vehicles over the years, many only seen for a few minutes.
Such is the case for 1971's Diamonds are Forever, which gave us a short chase sequence when Bond steals a moon buggy from a film set. Maybe the oddest ground vehicle he has ever driven.
I wanted to do an 8-wide version of this thing and here it is. There is barely anything that holds the driver's compartment in place so I had to add a trans-clear panel just so the whole thing would not be supported by one mere off-center 2x2. Dark grey parts are light grey in the original, but I wanted to add just a little more color.
I also did a more accurate one, but that one turned out 12 studs wide and really fragile. I might still finish and upload that as a UCS version if there is some interest.
